One-on-one coaching

PERSONAL TRAINING @TRUE GRIT FITNESS

A program built for your body, your schedule and your goal — coached by trainers who work with beginners and competitors in the same week.

Our expertise

Coaching that earns the word “personal”

Most personal training is a workout someone stands next to you for. Ours starts with an assessment: how you move, what hurts, what you have tried, what your week actually looks like. Then we write a program with progressions you can see on paper.

Our trainers coach across the full range — the 58-year-old learning to deadlift safely, the mom rebuilding strength postpartum, the Hyrox athlete shaving minutes off a race. Same standard of coaching, completely different programs.

  • Movement assessment

    Screen first, program second.

  • Written progressions

    Tracked numbers, not random workouts.

  • Nutrition habits

Protein, sleep and steps that survive real life.

  • Between-session support

Check-ins so the plan doesn't stall.

Strength & Performance · Geriatric Certified

JORDAN MCGUIRE — STRENGTH, PERFORMANCE AND GERIATRIC CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER

Jordan builds people who want to be visibly, measurably stronger. Structured progressive overload, tracked lifts, and a training block that has a beginning and an end instead of random hard workouts.

He is also geriatric certified, so senior strength training is a real specialty here, not an afterthought: balance, bone density, joint-friendly loading and the kind of everyday capability that keeps people independent.

Best fit for: adding muscle, breaking a strength plateau, athletic performance, senior and active-aging clients, learning the barbell lifts correctly, and returning to lifting after time away.

Pre/Post Natal · Women's Strength · Weight Loss

LAURA BILLIOT — PRENATAL, POSTNATAL AND WOMEN'S WEIGHT LOSS COACH

Laura specializes in women's strength and sustainable fat loss for busy people. She pairs strength training with habit-based nutrition coaching — protein, sleep, steps and consistency — instead of a crash plan that dies in three weeks.

She also coaches prenatal and postpartum training: safe loading through pregnancy, core and pelvic floor rebuilding after birth, and a return-to-lifting plan that respects where your body actually is.

Best fit for: pre and post natal training, women's strength, losing body fat and keeping it off, rebuilding a fitness routine, and anyone who wants accountability between sessions.

Sports & Youth Performance · Strength Training

DEVAN BARGER — SPORTS PERFORMANCE, YOUTH ATHLETE AND STRENGTH TRAINING COACH

Devan trains the endurance-and-strength crowd: Hyrox competitors, runners who need to get strong, and lifters who want a real engine. Every block is built backwards from your race or season date.

Sports performance and youth performance are his other lane — speed, change of direction, jump mechanics and age-appropriate strength training for middle school, high school and college athletes preparing for their season.

Best fit for: youth and high school athletes, sport-specific performance, first-time Hyrox racers, PR chasers, and athletes who want to run faster without losing strength.
